Ok dicksie is a bit of a nob, but the other two comments were borne out of experience in these matters, I'm sure they'd hold theirs hands up and gladly admit they might be wrong.

Re: Lanzini
He is a Bilic signing, not one of Sully's South American 'specials'.
Bilic tried to sign him for Besiktas a year ago but they couldn't afford him. I must say he has excelled so far with his skill and work rate. A good permanent signing next summer if we take up the option of 6 mill as Alan says. Bargain at that price.

Re: Hammers snatch 'The Jewel' Confirmed
For one season I would have preferred the tried and tested Cambiasso.

Re: Lanzini
Must admit, I wasn't expecting much from him. But he's been very impressive so far.

And if he keeps this form up and that figure of 6m is realistic, that'd be an absolute steal.

Looks a good player, am still laughing at that YNFA vid that said "He's so short, his hair smells of feet" though

I like him as well. Can only get better. Played a deliightful chip into the path of Sakho the other day.

Re: Lanzini
Thought he was going to be one of Sullivan's South American specials gone in a season but been nothing like. Scored a nice goal out in Romania and carried on the form into the league season. Good recruitment by whoever it was.

"what is the view to perm deal, anyone know how much he might cost?"

We've got an option on him for around £6m

Re: LANZINI
So, to put things straight, this 'LIGHTWEIGHT' obsession that people have is a complete load of bollocks?

The game nowadays does not require everyone to bulk up, all you need is the right skills and temperament.

Lanzini is a proper tidy little player, his passing is sublime.

seems we've found a gem, adjusted very quickly for a south american that says a lot

Re: LANZINI
i really like him - on top of hsi work rate his first instinct is to move the ball forwards.
have a look at the first goal saturday - was his little ball round the corner that opens city up.

I like this kid has a bit of countinho about him

Showed Saturday he can be a asset at both ends which has surprised me as you wouldn't expect a little argie winger that's about 5 stone wet through to be so industrious

Yeah I see that. Well out of order tackle. Tried disguising it too.

Berhami is a perfect example of why, as a school kid, you should do as much as you can to be able to run and run and run. Because he hasn't got much else to his game and is made for life.

Nice to see Behrami hasn't changed too much. Banned for stamping on someone.

"I think Bilic deserves alot of credit for this. He is obviously drilling the team the right way because when you look at Payet, Moses and Sakho they are all offensive players but they put in a shift."

I agree and I think that might be the single most important positive of his tenure so far. No matter how much skill those players have, we don't we those three away games without that defensive work.

Yes. He is. Like a Berhami with skill.
